From Play Nation Studios:
Dream Catchers is a cooperative game for 2 to 4 players. Players take on the role of dream faeries, and your mission is to help sleeping children sleep tight by catching sweet dreams and removing nightmares. However, the team has to complete the task before dawn and before nasty monsters hiding under the bed wakes the poor kid!
Dream Catchers is a light weight game with simple and easy to understand mechanics. It features a dynamic tile driven Dreamscape, which represents all the sweet dreams and nightmare that the players interact with. As new nightmares appear and monsters attack throughout the night, the Dreamscape changes constantly, forcing the players to reassess their team goals and priorities.
I can’t tell if this is going to be a bit too light for my group or not. Other cooperative games about adventuring through dreams, like Stuffed Fables and Onirim, have been pretty big hits with my group, so maybe Dream Catchers will be too. Even if it doesn’t end up being the type of game my adult gaming group plays regularly, it does look like it’s going to be a solid family game.
