From CMON:
In Bloodborne: The Board Game, a campaign-based action-adventure game, players will take on the role of Hunters working together against the game to uncover the mysteries hidden within the city of Yharnam and beyond. Featuring unique Trick Weapons, each with various forms and powers, Hunters will have to think quickly and adapt their tactics to overcome the multitude of foes that stand in their way. Learn their behavior, exploit their weaknesses, and strike them down! Featuring unique card-driven combat, luck has little place here. Success or failure will depend on your choices and how you approach each engagement!
Bloodborne is one of my favorite video games of all-time. Funny story: I put about 40 hours into the game, made it to the final boss (Gehrman), and gave up after about 25 attempts. I just couldn’t solve that one and it stressed me out! Still, I have great memories of exploring the city and trying to find ways to beat the different bosses.
I don’t expect Bloodborne: The Board Game to provide the exact same experience as the video game, but I am looking forward to seeing all of those unique enemies again and being able to face them with my friends instead of solo. Plus, this game is designed by Eric Lang and Michael Shinall, who have both made excellent co-ops in the past. Can’t wait to play this one.
