GeForce Now Subscribers Statistics 2026: Membership, Playtime and Pricing
GeForce Now members have streamed more than 1 billion hours since launch, NVIDIA said in February 2026. The company has not published a member count since February 2023. This post covers what NVIDIA actually discloses about GeForce Now subscribers: engagement hours, membership pricing, the 100-hour playtime cap, catalogue size and the India launch.

How Many GeForce Now Subscribers Are There?
NVIDIA’s most recent published figure is more than 25 million members, stated in its February 2023 partnership announcement with Microsoft and repeated in the service’s third-anniversary blog post.
That number counts registered members on free and paid plans together. It is not a paying subscriber count, and NVIDIA has not updated it in the three and a half years since.
The one metric NVIDIA keeps publishing is cumulative streaming hours, disclosed at anniversary milestones.

GeForce Now Subscribers Versus Game Pass and PlayStation Plus
All three services have stopped updating their headline counts. The most recent company-confirmed figure for each is now more than two years old.

Sony said in August 2023 it would stop reporting PlayStation Plus subscriber totals; the ceiling it left behind is tracked in these PlayStation Plus subscriber figures. Microsoft’s disclosure gap is covered in this Game Pass membership breakdown.
Sony does still publish engagement. PlayStation Network reached a record 132 million monthly active users in December 2025, per its Q3 FY2025 results. Nintendo remains the outlier that keeps counting, at 34 million paid memberships as of September 2025, detailed in these Switch Online membership numbers.
GeForce Now Subscriber Pricing and the 100-Hour Cap
NVIDIA runs three tiers. Performance and Ultimate both carry a 100-hour monthly playtime allowance, with up to 15 unused hours rolling into the next month.

NVIDIA discounted 12-month plans by 35% between June 11 and July 8, 2026, taking Performance to $64.99 and Ultimate to $129.99. That promotion has ended and annual pricing is back at list.
Members who joined before January 15, 2026 kept unlimited playtime until their first billing date after that, per NVIDIA’s FAQ. Founders members who started a paid membership on or before March 17, 2021 keep unlimited playtime for life, provided the membership never lapses.
Free members see up to two minutes of video ads before each session, a policy NVIDIA introduced on March 5, 2024. Since April 30, 2026, premium members who exhaust their playtime still keep access to Install-to-Play games.
What GeForce Now Subscribers Can Stream
The library has grown from more than 800 titles at the first anniversary to over 4,500 today.

The 2025 step up is a composition change, not organic growth. NVIDIA doubled the catalogue in August 2025 by adding Install-to-Play, which brought in more than 2,200 opted-in Steam titles available only to Performance and Ultimate members.
Ready-to-Play titles, the instantly streamable set open to every tier, numbered over 2,000 as of November 2025. Members must already own each game on a supported store, which is why the catalogue count works differently here than on services that bundle back-catalogue libraries into the fee.
GeForce Now Subscribers in India
NVIDIA opened the service to all Indian gamers on July 15, 2026, after a three-month early access beta. Day passes give 24 consecutive hours of premium benefits without a recurring commitment.

Indian servers run GeForce RTX 5080 SuperPODs delivering up to 62 teraflops with a 48GB frame buffer, which NVIDIA says is 2.8 times the performance of its previous cloud generation. UPI was added as a payment method at launch.
Early access pass holders received a one-time 20% discount on their first three months of a recurring membership, redeemable within one week of the offer email. Device breadth is the pitch here, and cloud services lead every category on that measure, as this cross-platform adoption data shows.
Connection speeds NVIDIA recommends
Bandwidth requirements scale sharply with the streaming mode, and Cinematic Quality Streaming asks for the most.

What the GeForce Now Subscriber Data Shows
NVIDIA added a native Linux app and an Amazon Fire TV app at CES 2026, and RTX 5080 servers went live globally for Ultimate members. Device reach keeps widening while the paying base stays undisclosed.
Two things follow. Any article quoting a precise 2026 GeForce Now subscriber count is estimating, because NVIDIA has not confirmed one since February 2023. And the 100-hour cap, with extra time sold at $2.99 and $5.99 per 15 hours, points the revenue pressure at heavy streamers rather than the broader base, a different model from the flat-fee approach behind Ubisoft+ tier pricing or EA Play’s smaller subscriber base.
