Crown Coins Casino to Launch ‘Crown Rips’ Trading Card Game

Crown Coins Casino to Launch ‘Crown Rips’ Trading Card Game

The trading card boom is officially back, so it’s no surprise that sweepstakes casinos want to get in on the action.

Last month, Crown Coins Casino, ranked #2 on the ‘top picks’ from the Freaky Gaming website, announced that it’s testing a brand-new trading card feature, ‘Crown Rips’.

A small selection of 500 players have been granted access to the beta feature and it is expected to be released to all users at some stage in 2027.

This comes following the recent release of Card Crush, a collectible card trading game and sweepstakes casino platform rolled into one, as well as the huge surge in Kick and Twitch streamers playing ‘Rip-and-Ship’ card games.

So, with Crown Coins looking to capitalize off the recent PvP card-trading trend, what exactly can players expect from this all-new exclusive feature?

Crown Rips Available for Selected Members on Crown Coins Casino

◼ Crown Rips will let Crown Coins members purchase virtual card packs

◼ Packs contain cards which you can then instantly sell back for its market value OR keep secured in your card vault

◼ Any cards you collect can be shipped directly to your door when you’re ready

Crown Coins is currently in the process of beta-testing its Crown Rip feature, which selected members can experience as an early-access preview.

The game mode, set to capitalize off the recent rise of trading card game engagement in the US, will allow players to “rip” and reveal cards for prizes.

The potential cards up for grabs include pokemon cards and sports cards, as confirmed in the statement.

Once you start collecting cards, you can either redeem them for their market value, such as $15 for a redemption, or hold onto the cards and have them shipped to wherever you live.

It will no doubt be a popular addition to Crown Coins’ already popular platform, where players get to play hundreds of casino games using Sweeps Coins and potentially redeem them for prizes.

Several of the internet’s other popular sweepstakes gaming and mystery box sites have also recently added their own collectable trading card feature, with some of them even adding PvP card battles.

These card battles essentially let you open packs against randomized players from around the world, and whoever’s cards are most valuable wins, but Crown Coins hasn’t confirmed if this will be part of the game mode or not.

For now, at least, it will serve as a nice little add-on for players to take advantage of when they take a break from playing the site’s many different casino games, including popular slots like Gems & Jesters and Spinning Crowns.

When Will Crown Rips Be Officially Released?

Following the recent announcement of Crown Rips and 500 users being invited to take part in the beta testing phase, no official date has been given as to when Crown Rips will release for all players to use.

Based on the history of Crown Coins Casino, which regularly releases special features and new games on an almost monthly basis, there’s a slight chance it could get a full release before the end of the year, but the most likely outcome is in the first half of 2027.

Until then, fans of tradable rip-and-ship card games will have to use alternative platforms.

Crown Coins Looks Set to Become the #2 Most Popular Sweepstakes Casino

The recent announcement of the Crown Rips feature comes at a time when Crown Coins could literally be about to take the crown by becoming the second most popular sweeps casino on today’s market.

As it stands, Chumba Casino and LuckyLand Slots are still the top dogs, with recent data from Blask revealing that Crown Coins Casino sits just behind them with a 7.25% share of player demand and search interest.

Last month witnessed VGW announce that it will be shutting down LuckyLand Slots forever in September, though, meaning Crown Coins is going to take second spot on the most popular sweepstakes casinos list, with the likes of Stake.us and WOW Vegas lagging behind.

And if Crown Rips is to be a success for Crown Coins upon its eventual release, Chumba Casino will face a serious challenge in holding onto its existing market share.

Revival of the US Trading Card Market

It’s certainly a smart business decision from the developers at Crown Coins Casino to release Crown Rips, as it comes during a time when the US is going crazy for trading cards again.

Revenue for sports card traders recently hit upwards of $100 million and there’s also been an explosion for Pokemon collectors as well, even leading to card scalpers becoming a major problem.

Off the back of this, rip-and-ship trading card sites, which allow you to exchange money for virtual packs that can then be shipped to your home if you’re happy with the contents, have completely exploded.

Crown Coins is the first major sweepstakes casino to identify a market opportunity here and it’s now extremely likely that other operators will also follow suit, as the demand for these trading cards is immeasurable.
